Welcome to Fable Forge. These Terms & Conditions explain how bookings for our Dungeons & Dragons services work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you in return.
We have tried to keep these terms as straightforward as possible. If you have any questions about them, please contact us before making a booking.
Fable Forge is operated by Christopher Huckle, based in London, United Kingdom.
You can contact us at support@fableforge.co.uk.
These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made through our website, social media pages, over SMS/WhatsApp/phone call, or otherwise agreed directly with us.
We currently offer the following services:
A booking is confirmed once we have received the required payment and provided confirmation of the booking, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.
Prices will be displayed on our website or provided to you before you make a booking.
Unless otherwise stated, prices include all applicable charges that we are required to include in the advertised price.
Payments are processed using the payment providers made available through our website (Stripe or Paypal) or via direct bank transfer. Unless otherwise specified, we do not accept payment via cash or cheque.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when making a booking, including your name, contact details and any information reasonably required to provide the service.
Online sessions will take place using the online platforms or software specified before or during the booking process.
These sessions will take place for the duration specified in the booking. As such, the leader of the session will manage timings and appropriate sectioning of the sessions (introductions, explanations, endings, delivery of information, etc.)
The session will begin at the specified time and all participants will be let into the online call at this time. It is recommended that you access the online lobby several minutes before the specified time to avoid being late. You are responsible for arriving on-time and for having a suitable internet connection and the equipment reasonably required to participate in the session (screen, microphone, webcam, etc.)
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service where this is affected by third-party platforms, internet providers or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a technical problem on our side prevents a session from taking place, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate alternative, which may include rescheduling the session.
For in-person events, you are responsible for providing reasonable access to the agreed venue at the agreed time.
Unless otherwise agreed, we will provide the Dungeons & Dragons equipment reasonably required to run the event.
You must provide accurate information about the venue, location, number of participants and any relevant access or logistical requirements.
Additional travel, accommodation, parking or other expenses will only be charged where these have been agreed with you in advance.
Your statutory rights, including any applicable right to cancel a distance contract, are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.
Where you wish to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us as soon as possible using the contact details provided above.
The cancellation and refund arrangements applicable to your booking will depend on the service purchased, when the cancellation occurs, and whether the service has already begun.
Where you ask us to begin providing a service during any applicable statutory cancellation period, we will explain the consequences of doing so before the service begins.
Any specific cancellation terms displayed during the booking process will form part of the agreement between us, provided that they do not restrict your statutory rights.
The following refund and reschedule options are available to you, depending on the nature and timing of the cancellation:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session where circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary.
Where we cancel a service that you have paid for and are unable to provide an appropriate alternative, we will provide any refund that you are legally entitled to receive.
Dungeons & Dragons works best when everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the game.
Players are therefore expected to treat the Dungeon Master and other participants with reasonable respect and consideration.
We may end a session or refuse future bookings where a participant engages in serious abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise unacceptable behaviour.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
Our training and consultation services are intended to provide practical guidance, ideas and feedback.
They are not a guarantee that a particular adventure, campaign, encounter or group of players will produce a particular result.
You remain responsible for decisions made in relation to your own games and campaigns.
Unless otherwise agreed, materials created by us for our services, including original adventures, written material, characters, maps, artwork and other original content, remain our intellectual property or the intellectual property of the relevant rights holder.
You may use materials provided to you for the purpose for which they were supplied, but you must not reproduce, sell, publish or commercially distribute our original materials without our permission.
Dungeons & Dragons and its associated intellectual property are owned by their respective rights holders. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions gives either party ownership of intellectual property belonging to Wizards of the Coast or any other third party.
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
We will not be responsible for a failure or delay in providing a service where this is caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control.
This may include serious illness, significant technical failures, transport disruption, extreme weather, or failures of third-party services.
Where such circumstances affect a booking, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with you and arrange an appropriate alternative.
Information about how we collect and use personal information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
The version that applies to your booking will normally be the version in force when you enter into the relevant contract, unless a change is required by law or otherwise agreed with you.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you have a concern about a service, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter with you.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
